On a Card
Each bar starts where the last one ended, and a dashed connector carries the level across to the next one. The connector is a pseudo-element of the bar, so it arrives with it; --wm-end says which edge the step ends on (0% for a rise, 100% for a drop) and --wm-gap is your column gap.
The class is wm wm-waterfall — the first half is the marker the trigger and reduced-motion rules hook into, the second is the effect.
