On a Card
transform-style: preserve-3d plus translateZ on the children, so the header and the content lift off the card instead of the whole thing rotating as a flat picture. It follows the pointer, not a clock — move over the card: a pointermove handler writes --wm-tx and --wm-ty (-1 to 1) and the card leans up to 6° towards it, smoothed by a spring, and settles flat when the pointer leaves. Until you point at it, the preview sways on a loop. The class opens the card's overflow — a clipping card flattens 3D. Every direct child gets a 14px lift; override it per child for more depth.
The class is wm wm-3d-card-tilt — the first half is the marker the trigger and reduced-motion rules hook into, the second is the effect.
