The line draws first and the filled body grows from the baseline a moment behind it, so the fill follows the line instead of racing it. The 0.25s offset is the whole difference from Line Trace.
The class is wm wm-area-rise — the first half is the marker the trigger and reduced-motion rules hook into, the second is the effect.
