By purchasing, downloading or using any WunderUI product — the WunderUI Figma library, the @wunderui/react components, the design tokens, the motion library, the UI blocks and templates, the agent skills and the WunderUI MCP server and registry (together, the "Products") — you agree to this License Agreement between [TODO: licensor: full name or company name and address] ("WunderUI", "we", "us") and you, the person or organisation using the Products ("you").
Summary
WunderUI has two licenses. Which one applies depends on your plan:

Standard Commercial License · Solo
$199 / $299
Core / Pro, per year · 1 user
Unlimited commercial projects of your own, for one named person.
Standard Commercial License · Team

Core / Pro, per year · up to 5 users
Unlimited commercial projects for your organisation and its clients.
In short: build as many products as you like with WunderUI, for yourself or — on a Team license — for your clients. Do not share, resell or republish WunderUI itself, and do not use it to make a competing UI kit, library, template or builder.
1. Free License — personal use only
WunderUI Free gives you the free Figma preview file, the core React components and the button motion effects. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You may:
- learn, explore and try out WunderUI;
- build personal projects that do not earn money, such as a portfolio, a study project or a hobby app;
- build prototypes to evaluate whether WunderUI fits your project.
You may not:
- use the free Products in commercial projects, client work or anything that earns money — for that you need a Standard Commercial License (Core or Pro);
- sell, share, redistribute or republish the free Products, in original or modified form.
2. Standard Commercial License
WunderUI Core and WunderUI Pro come with the Standard Commercial License. It grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable license to use the Products included in your plan to create End Products. An "End Product" is a website, web app, mobile app, internal tool or other software that you build with the Products and that does not let third parties access, extract or reuse the Products themselves.
Core covers the full Figma file including the UI block screens, every React component, the design tokens, the motion library and the MCP server and registry for Core. Pro adds the agent skills, the React source of the UI blocks, the templates, and new components and templates as they ship. You may use only what your plan includes.
You may:
- create an unlimited number of End Products for personal or commercial use;
- on a Team license, create End Products for your clients and hand the finished End Product over to them;
- sell End Products, or charge users for them as a one-time fee or a subscription;
- change, combine and extend the Products, and use them in your own internal design system;
- ship compiled or bundled code that contains the Products as part of an End Product;
- use the MCP server, the registry and the agent skills with your own coding agents to build End Products.
Examples of allowed use:
- a SaaS dashboard, an admin panel or a landing page for your company;
- a client website or app that your agency builds on a Team license;
- an internal component library for your own organisation that builds on WunderUI.
You may not:
- sell, sublicense, share, distribute or publish the Products, in original or modified form;
- use the Products in a UI kit, component library, design system, template, theme, starter kit or page builder that is sold, given away or made public — even if modified;
- create a version of WunderUI for another tool or framework (for example Framer, Webflow, Vue or plain HTML) and offer it for free or for sale;
- publish the source files (Figma files, React source, block and template source) in a public repository, a public Figma file, a package registry or as a download;
- share your license, your download access or your license key with people who are not covered by it, or take part in a group buy;
- use the Products to train machine-learning models, or in a service that generates UI for third parties.
Publishing an End Product's source code is allowed only if the Products are a minor part of a larger, working application and cannot reasonably be extracted and reused as a UI kit.
3. Users and seats
A "user" is a person who directly works with the Products: opens the Figma files, uses the components in code, or uses the agent skills, the MCP server or the registry.
- Solo: one named person. A Solo license cannot be shared, transferred or reassigned.
- Team: up to 5 users in one organisation. Seats cannot be given to people outside your organisation.
[TODO: what a team with more than 5 users needs (larger tier, enterprise) and how upgrades are charged]
4. Subscription and updates
Core and Pro are billed yearly. While your plan is active you receive continuous updates to everything it includes; Pro also receives the new components and templates as they ship.
When your plan ends
- For one year after your plan ends, your license key keeps working and the Standard Commercial License still applies to everything you received while the plan was active — including commercial and, on a Team license, client projects.
- During that year you receive no new updates, components or templates.
- After that year the Free License applies: personal, non-commercial use only. End Products you built and shipped while the commercial license was valid may stay in use as they are.
To keep using WunderUI commercially after that, renew your plan. [TODO: final wording of §4 reviewed by a lawyer]
5. Ownership
WunderUI and its licensors keep all rights in the Products, including the source code, the Figma files, the design assets, the documentation and the WunderUI name and logo. Buying a license does not transfer ownership. You own the End Products you create, except for the Products contained in them.
6. Open-source parts
[TODO: the npm package @wunderui/react is currently published under the MIT License, which allows commercial use. Before launch, decide which parts stay MIT (and are marked as such) and change the package license so that the Free License above applies to the rest]
7. Termination
If you breach this agreement, we may end your license and your access to the Products. After termination you must stop using the Products and delete any copies you have, except inside End Products you created lawfully before the breach. [TODO: termination details reviewed by a lawyer]
8. Questions
If you are unsure whether your use is covered, write to [TODO: contact email address] before you start — we will tell you. Prices and plans are on the pricing page; refunds are covered by the refund policy.
