Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by [TODO: hosting provider, its address and whether data leaves the EU]. When you open a page, the server records your IP address, the date and time, the page you requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent. This is needed to deliver the site and to keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after [TODO: retention period, e.g. 14 days].
No analytics, no tracking
The site uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own server.
License cookie
If you unlock WunderUI Pro on this site, we store a signed cookie named wui_license in your browser. It only records that your license key was valid, so the Pro code stays unlocked. It is strictly necessary for a service you asked for (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG) and is removed when you sign out or it expires.
Purchases and license keys (Polar)
WunderUI Core, WunderUI Pro and the templates are sold through Polar (polar.sh, [TODO: Polar's legal entity and address from its terms]), which acts as the merchant of record: payment, invoicing and taxes are handled by Polar, which processes your name, email, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy. When you enter a license key on this site, the key is sent to Polar's license-key API to check it, together with our Polar organization id (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; [TODO: state the transfer mechanism, e.g. the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, after checking Polar's current terms].
Map example
The Map component page loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, UK) and marker images from unpkg.com (Cloudflare, USA). Your browser sends its IP address to these servers when that page is open. [TODO: decide: keep, or self-host the marker images and load tiles only after a click]
Contact by email
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless we have to keep them by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and you can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for our place of business: [TODO: competent supervisory authority].
