Growing through the edge-on moment hides the paper-thin frame where a plain flip shows you it has no thickness. A full turn per loop, so the card rests face up. --wm-flip-scale sets how far it grows — a whole card needs far less than a small tile.
The class is wm wm-midpoint-flip — the first half is the marker the trigger and reduced-motion rules hook into, the second is the effect.
