The one button effect that needs JavaScript, and it needs six lines: write the click point into two custom properties and CSS does the rest. Without a handler it ripples from the centre, which is a reasonable default.
The class is wm wm-tap-ripple — the first half is the marker the trigger and reduced-motion rules hook into, the second is the effect.
